Over the years, David has participated in a number of radio theatre performances, mostly with L.A. Theatre Works. Readings are staged before a live audience for eventual broadcast on National Public Radio and/or BBC radio. Some titles are also made available on compact disc and audio cassette. In addition, David has reprised his Dark Shadows role of Quentin Collins in several radio-style plays. Return to Collinwood and Vengeance at Collinwood were written by his son Jamison Selby. Return to Collinwood was performed live in New York in 2003. Vengeance at Collinwood was performed live in Hollywood in 2005. It has not been recorded for release.
