Dark Shadows 60th Anniversary Events

A previously unpublished photograph of David Selby taken at the *Dark Shadows* studio in 1969 for *Tiger Beat* magazine.

Greetings to all of you.

I very much look forward to seeing you in Los Angeles soon as we gather to recognize and celebrate a most special personality of our generation.

Quentin Collins brought Dark Shadows alive and was certainly one of my favorite roles as an actor.

Webmaster’s Note:

David Selby is scheduled to attend two events this summer in Los Angeles to mark the 60th anniversary of Dark Shadows.

On Saturday, June 27, 2026, the anniversary of the series premiere, the UCLA Film and Television Archive will host a special screening at the Billy Wilder Theater at the Hammer Museum. David is scheduled to participate in a Q&A following the screening. This event is free and open to the public.

On Friday, July 31, through Sunday, August 2, 2026, a fan gathering to celebrate the 60th anniversary of Dark Shadows will take place at the Westin Los Angeles Airport. David is among a number of guests expected to attend. Tickets are required for this event.

David asked that this be posted to mark today’s anniversary of President’s Lincoln’s assassination. It is from the commemoration of the 150th anniversary in 2015 at Ford’s Theatre.

You can visit https://www.vote.org to register (if your state’s deadline hasn’t passed), check your registration status, request an absentee ballot, find your polling place, and get election reminders. Ride sharing services Lyft and Uber are offering free or discounted transportation to polling places on Election Day.
